Tired of the weak point between the handle and scoop on traditional ladles, an elderly Finnish tinkerer decided to take matters into his own hands to create a durable dipper that doesn't have a weak spot. This bizarre, three-piece, through-the-scoop design is the result.

With a cedar handle for comfort, and a copper shaft and scoop for strength and durability, this ladle doubles as both a workhorse, and a talking point.
